About Ray
In his book Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell made an interesting observation: that people who rose above the rest and achieved incredible success in their respective endeavors all have one thing in common: they spent at least 10,000 hours learning, internalizing and perfecting their crafts. I've been playing guitar for over 40 years. that's 14,600 days. If I had practiced at least 1 hour a day, I'd be an expert now...or maybe not. In any case, I didn't and I'm not.
I hope you'll get a bit of a sense of my passion for music and my guitars from these pages. I'm definitely enjoying this time in my life for many reasons especially life with April, my lovely wife, who not only tolerates my incessant tinkering with the guitars but is also my number one fan.
Sharing music with friends is a real pleasure so I hope you'll visit from time to time.
